This is your opportunity to learn from an International Specialist in the field of negotiation and dispute resolution

Negotiating and Managing Conflict

Every day there will be occasions when we all need to:

  • negotiate successful outcomes
  • deal with difficult people
  • handle potential conflict situations

Rather than just talking about the skills and models for negotiation and conflict resolution, this course will provide the opportunity to experience them as you practice with experimental exercises. The programme is highly interactive, experiential, fun and insightful.

Programme Facilitator

Colin McKenzie – Conflict Management New Zealand Ltd

Colin McKenzie has been training and consulting in negotiation and dispute resolution for over 20 years.

Colin is qualified in Natural Resource Management from Canterbury University, NZ, Conflict Resolution from York University, Toronto and has a post graduate diploma from Harvard University in Negotiation & Dispute Resolution.

He is an experienced mediator, lecturer and writer in the negotiation field. In addition to his international experience he currently works with both the private and public sectors in NZ and is the director of CMNZ Ltd (Conflict Management New Zealand Ltd).

The course covers topics including:

  • Negotiation Frameworks
  • Multi-party Negotiation and Conflict Management
  • Managing the Relationships in Negotiation
  • Preparing Action Plans to put the learning into practice

This is your opportunity to learn and practise your negotiation skills in a non threatening environment.

Places on this course are limited and have filled quickly in the past, so register early and don't miss this excellent opportunity for personal and professional development.
